Britain’s Best Bikes of 2013!

One of the Best Bikes in the UK… official!

For the sixth year, I had the honour of shooting the 12 custom bikes for the annual Carole Nash Insurance calendar, backed by the world’s biggest-selling bike publication MCN.

For the past five year’s it’s been the “Britain’s Got Biking Talent” calendar. It’s a mystery where they came up with that concept from… but it worked! Bike builders send in photos of their restored or customised bikes and MCN readers vote for their favourite. The top 12 get photographed (by me in my studio) for the calendar. Around 200,000 copies of the calendar go out every year, so it’s a big publication!

This year the contest title was changed to ‘Britain’s best Bikes” and there was a category added for professional bike building companies too. And as always, there were some worthy, stunning winners.
