If there’s someone who is the spitting image of his dad, then it’s Tom Hunt, son of former Formula One driver James Hunt. James, one of the legendary hard drivers and hard partying playboys of all time, has become even more infamous since he died. And the film Rush has immortalised his legendary season where he squared up to arch rival Nikki Lauda.
Tom is managing his father’s racing legacy, and carefully controlling some branded James Hunt items. And I got to photograph him for top-class car magazine EVO at the Bluebird Cafe on London’s King’s Road. It was a fitting location, as the restaurant was the garage where land speed record Bluebird car was made.
