It started with Jackass on MTV, where skate punks did outrageous things for a TV show. Then pro stunt men from the world of freestyle motocross, mountain biking, BMX, base jumping and more wondered how mad they could make a similar series. Like Jackass on steroids. With the help of Jackass supremeo Johnny Knoxville, that’s how Nitro Circus was born.
Headed by motocross and rally car freestyle supremo Travis Pastrana, there’s a TV series, film and now a worlwide tour of sheer madness. Massive jumps and stunts inside arenas all around Europe and then it’s heading Down Under.
I shot the action at the Manchester MEN Arena. It was intense, fun, mad and scary all at the same time. Unmissable for any fans of excitement!
