The cool kids are suddenly all about scooters. Not Vespas and Lambrettas like the motorbike scooters of old, but freestyle scooters you can do tricks on.
I was called in to shoot a series of actions shots, portraits of a top scooter rider and how-tos for a pilot of a new magazine, called Scoot Nation. The shoot went well, the magazine went well. And now it’s gone from being a pilot to a full-blown magazine. And it’s been the No1 choice of Xmas present for a whole generation of action sports fans.
