Sun and ice for bike man Nev

One day it was sunny and he headed out on his mountain bike. A few days later sub zero and a frozen track as he headed out on his motocross bike to prepare for the British Supercross championship.

But the South African professional racer, who moved to the UK full time eight years ago, seemed to be unaffected by the cold! He still wore his Troy Lee vented gloves and just a shirt as he blasted his Honda CRF450 around the Tonymoto track near Winchester.

Bicycle racing and motocross on a frozen-hard track are all part of his preparations for Supercross which kicks off at the O2 in London in January.

Yes, that is frost on the side of the track. Yes, he is just wearing flimsy summer kit!
Same rider, much colder, on a much more powerful bike
